Poverty Introduction

Hi, I'm Ben and this is the beginning of explorations

What does poverty mean to you?

-poverty means to not be able to afford or own the basic 

needs for living such as shelter, food and water. What I 

usually think of people that are in poverty is usually living 

on the streets and beggars.

What do you know/believe about poverty in Hong Kong 

and globally?

-I know that poverty exist in a lot of places in Hong Kong 

and mostly in places like sham shui Po, Mong Kok, North
point etc.
-I believe that globally, the government do not help people
in poverty.

What are the things you want to know more about?
-I'd like to know more about what people are doing about
poverty around the world.
